Prosum is a company operating in the media and entertainment sector, and they are seeking a Senior Oracle Business Analyst to support enterprise systems. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, driving requirements gathering, and supporting complex technology initiatives within a cross-functional technology team.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to define functional needs
- Participate in project initiation and documentation
- Evaluate and recommend potential solutions
- Analyze and document business processes and workflows
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver solutions
- Support system configuration and design discussions
- Participate in software selection processes when applicable
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Support integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Validate and document test results
- Ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements
- Provide first-line support for business applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues
- Track, analyze, and escalate support tickets
- Coordinate with IT teams on system enhancements and fixes
- Develop user documentation and training materials
- Conduct end-user training sessions (individual and group)
- Support change management initiatives
- Track and document system defects
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments
- Strong experience with Oracle (Oracle R12 preferred)
- Experience supporting complex business and IT projects
- Proficiency in SQL or similar querying languages
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to challenge assumptions and push back when needed
- Experience with Visio and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Project Accounting, Inventory Management, Work in Progress (WIP), Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Microsoft Power Automate (preferred)
- Experience in the media and entertainment industry
- Strong business process modeling and workflow documentation skills
