Sr. DevOps Engineer (Storage Platform)

Nasscomm is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in Storage Platforms to design, automate, and operate large-scale Software Defined Storage (SDS) platforms. The role involves managing enterprise storage and Kubernetes environments, with responsibilities including deploying SDS architectures and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Deploying and supporting SDS architectures
• Integrating Kubernetes CSI and OpenStack storage workflows
• Managing backup solutions (preferably Rubrik)
• Building automated infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Git, Python, and Bash
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Enhancing monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
• Troubleshooting issues across storage, Kubernetes, networking, hypervisors, and Linux systems

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience managing enterprise storage and Kubernetes environments on Linux
• Strong expertise in Ceph, Longhorn, Kubernetes, Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL/CentOS), and enterprise storage solutions such as Pure Storage, NetApp, and HPE
• Experience deploying and supporting SDS architectures
• Integrating Kubernetes CSI and OpenStack storage workflows
• Managing backup solutions (preferably Rubrik)
• Building automated infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Git, Python, and Bash
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Enhancing monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
• Troubleshooting issues across storage, Kubernetes, networking, hypervisors, and Linux systems
• Experience with Fibre Channel (Cisco MDS), NVMe-oF, iSCSI, KVM-based platforms such as OpenStack and SUSE Harvester
• Experience in 24x7 production environments
• Additional experience with OpenStack Cinder
• CIS/NIST standards
• ITIL practices
• Kubernetes or Ceph certifications
