Job Overview:
Pay Range: $40.02hr - $43.02hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent field required.
- 2-4 years of HR or recruitment experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, and employee referrals.
- Screen applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills.
- Prepare and maintain employment records.
- Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection.
- Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in organizations.
- Provide critical support across high-volume early career programs.
- Oversee Co-Op program recruitment and management.
- Schedule and coordinate campus interviews with technical interviewers.
- Plan and execute Fall recruitment events, including career fairs, tech talks,
- Coordinate training for campus ambassadors and interviewers for the Fall 2026 cycle.
- Support SHPE Conference in October 2026.
- Assist with the new rotational development program in Draper.
- Provide ongoing University Relations operational support, including logistics, onboarding coordination, and materials management.
Skills:
- Experience in university recruiting or high-volume requisition management.
- Strong event planning and operational coordination skills.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to partner effectively across stakeholders.
- Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one s time.
- Basic knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and other work-related activities.
- Basic knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection and training.
- Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
