Connect Tech+Talent is seeking a highly skilled Odoo ERP Business Analyst (BA) to join their dynamic team. The role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes within the Odoo ERP system to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to understand current business processes, pain points, and requirements. Analyze workflows and recommend optimized solutions using Odoo ERP modules and features
- Conduct thorough gap analysis between standard Odoo out-of-the-box features and unique business requirements to minimize unnecessary customization and maximize system efficiency. Recommend scalable and best-practice-driven solutions wherever possible
- Elicit, document, prioritize, and validate functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project objectives
- Design and model functional solutions within Odoo ERP, considering scalability, system capabilities, and industry best practices. Recommend suitable configurations or custom developments where required
- Work closely with the development team to configure, customize, and deploy Odoo modules based on approved requirements. Ensure solutions are properly tested and meet quality standards
- Facilitate integrations between Odoo ERP and external systems such as CRM, accounting, HRMS, eCommerce, and inventory platforms to ensure seamless data flow and operations
- Plan and oversee migration of master and transactional data from legacy systems into Odoo ERP while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness
- Lead the UAT phase and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the delivered solution meets business expectations and the defined 'Definition of Done.' Track issues, coordinate resolutions, and obtain formal sign-offs from stakeholders
- Conduct end-user training sessions to ensure successful adoption of the system. Provide post-go-live support and resolve user queries/issues in a timely manner
- Support organizational change management initiatives during ERP rollout, helping users transition smoothly to new processes and systems while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Prepare functional specifications, business process flows, SOPs, user manuals, training materials, release notes, and other project-related documentation
- Stay updated with Odoo advancements, new releases, and ERP best practices. Identify opportunities for process enhancement, automation, and business growth
- Work effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones. Collaborate with global teams to ensure smooth project execution, communication, and delivery alignment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Business Analyst with Odoo ERP is must
- Strong understanding of Odoo ERP modules, workflows, and configurations
- Experience in ERP implementation, customization, and business process mapping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert business needs into practical solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies
- Hands-on experience in UAT planning and execution
- Exposure to integrations and data migration projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively across global teams and different time zones
- Odoo certification or Business Analysis certification will be an added advantage
