Hire-Agency is a growing firm seeking a Sales Director to design and implement a growth and customer engagement strategy. This role involves creating systems and processes to support expansion in commercial construction and service divisions while collaborating with internal teams and traveling to meet clients.
Responsibilities:
- Create and run a full-cycle business development and marketing plan, including trade shows
- Launch and manage a CRM and sales funnel to track leads and deals
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks with the leadership team
- Strengthen ties with preferred general contractors, strategic partners, and direct clients
- Lead prospecting to hit revenue goals, grow recurring service customers, and improve forecasting
- Travel 40-50% to represent the company at industry events and visit current or potential clients and plants
- Work with internal service and manufacturing teams on logistics from quoting through delivery
- Coordinate with estimators, project managers, and leadership to handle customer responses
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- 7-10+ years in business development, with a background in military, aerospace, or industrial electronics manufacturing
- Proven experience building CRM systems, sales processes, and client targeting strategies from scratch
- Track record of managing relationships in a manufacturing setting with a focus on client satisfaction
- Proven ability to grow revenue and secure long-term client relationships
- Strong understanding of industry trends, RFP/procurement processes, and project lifecycles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with Made2Manage ERP and CalcuQuote is a plus
