Chain of Events is a pioneering event organization company focused on creating large-scale conferences at the intersection of AI and emerging technologies. The Senior Account Executive will own a high-value book of business, selling the integrated RAISE platform, which includes the Summit, Hackathon, and Startup Competition, while engaging with senior buyers in the AI sector.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle across the integrated RAISE offering: Summit sponsorships, Hackathon tracks and prizes, and Startup Competition partnerships
- Build deal architectures that combine booth, branding, hackathon, and startup competition components — priced and positioned as a single, coherent GTM play for the sponsor
- Sell to CMOs, Heads of Partnerships, Developer Relations leads, and Strategic Marketing executives at AI-native companies and large tech enterprises
- Close high-value sponsorships and the ambition to build a €1.8M+ book of business
- Maintain genuine depth on the AI buyer landscape: model providers (foundation, open-source, vertical), infrastructure (compute, inference, GPU clouds), dev tools, data and evaluation platforms, agent frameworks, and the enterprise tech stack adopting them
- Map and prioritize target accounts based on their GTM motion. Understand why a hyperscaler, a GPU cloud, and a model lab each need RAISE for different reasons
- Run consultative discovery: identify the sponsor’s pipeline goals, developer-reach objectives, and ABM targets, then translate those into the right combination of Summit, Hackathon, and Startup Competition assets
- Be a credible peer in the room
- Generate new business across US and select international markets through highly personalized outbound, executive-level outreach, and ecosystem networking
- Own rebooking and account expansion for assigned strategic accounts: protect renewal revenue and grow share-of-wallet across the platform
- Manage a fast-moving pipeline with short sales cycles; keep Hubspot, Monday.com Sales boards, and YouSign contracting workflows clean and current
- Represent RAISE at industry events, partner gatherings, and on-site at the Summit — hosting Tier-1 sponsors and prospects
- Partner with the Hackathon and Startup Competition leads on product evolution, pricing, and packaging — you are the voice of the buyer inside the building
- Work with Marketing on ABM campaigns and sponsor enablement materials, and with Customer Success on flawless onboarding-to-rebooking
- Feed structured market intelligence back into Content and Strategy: what AI buyers are spending on, what they are no longer spending on, and where RAISE needs to evolve
