McGraw Hill is a leader in educational content and technology, dedicated to enhancing the learning experience for students and educators. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their School Education Sales team, focusing on qualifying leads and performing outbound prospecting to build a strong sales pipeline for instructional materials and services.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect via phone and email (avg. ~50 dials/day) to research, pre-qualify leads, and build a strong pipeline
- Identify and engage decision-makers and key influencers to drive meaningful conversations
- Schedule virtual meetings and product demos between prospects and Sales Representatives
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Specialists to support revenue growth and close opportunities
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly goals while logging all activity in Salesforce and SalesLoft, and sharing relevant customer feedback with Marketing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred with 0–2 years of experience and an interest in K–12 education
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused with a strong commitment to quality
- Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade
- Highly curious, creative, and adaptable with the ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly
- Coachable team player able to work cross-functionally, with strong technical skills in MS Office and familiarity with Salesforce, SalesLoft, or similar sales tools
