SCOPE
The Statistician leads the full lifecycle of analytic research projects, from initiation and planning through execution and dissemination. This role serves as the technical expert in statistical and epidemiologic methods, ensuring data integrity and driving high-quality research outcomes across the organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor''s degree (BA/BS) required; Master''s degree (MS) preferred
Advanced degree in a relevant specialty may be required depending on assignment
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in statistical analysis or a related field
FDA experience preferred
TASKS
Initiate, formulate, plan, and execute analytic research projects end-to-end
Identify appropriate methodologies, measures, and research questions; assess and summarize findings
Select and apply complex statistical and epidemiologic techniques and databases
Prepare comprehensive reports of study results for varied audiences
Develop and manage databases for analytical purposes
Maintain quality control programs to ensure data reliability and consistency
Direct and coordinate team members executing discrete components of data analysis
Provide technical assistance to staff on the use of advanced statistical and epidemiologic methods
Serve as subject matter expert across all phases of statistical interpretation
Disseminate research findings through publications, peer-reviewed journals, manuscripts, summaries, and special reports
