SIOP Planner

Job Title: SIOP Planner

Location: Rockford, IL

Duration: 12 Months

 

Job Description

• Develop and deploy SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes across the organization.
• Collaborate with planning teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and alignment with new production locations.
• Adjust demand plans to support industrial transfer and site transitions.
• Establish and implement SIOP governance frameworks, including regular review cycles and planning rituals.
• Manage buffer stock and purchase orders (POs) to ensure continuity during transition phases.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (operations, supply chain, procurement) to ensure alignment of supply-demand plans.
• Support decision-making through data-driven planning and reporting.

 

Skill Requirements

• Strong understanding of SIOP / S&OP processes and supply chain planning
• Experience in demand forecasting and production planning
• Knowledge of inventory strategies and buffer management
• Ability to analyze demand trends and adjust forecasts
• Strong data interpretation and reporting skills
• Cross-functional collaboration with planning, manufacturing, and procurement teams
• Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/IBP) or planning tools
• Advanced Excel / data analysis tools.
