We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Scheduler to join a dynamic Engineering & Construction team supporting the development, engineering, and construction of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. This role will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Developers, Construction Managers, and other stakeholders to develop, maintain, analyze, and report project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
Projects may include renewable energy, energy storage, transmission and distribution infrastructure, substations, pipelines, power generation facilities, and other capital construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, maintenance, and management of integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather scope, sequencing, logistics, and project constraints for schedule development.
- Perform schedule analysis, including critical path identification, resource loading, cost loading, and progress measurement.
- Monitor project performance against baseline schedules and identify schedule variances and risks.
- Prepare monthly schedule and progress reports for project teams and leadership.
- Support recovery planning and schedule optimization efforts when project delays or risks are identified.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings with project stakeholders and coordinate action plans.
- Analyze schedule impacts, forecast project outcomes, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and schedule performance clearly to management and project teams.
- Support project controls processes throughout development, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Project Controls, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience using Primavera P6 in a project scheduling or project controls environment.
- Experience supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, energy, utility, or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles.
- Experience with resource loading, cost loading, schedule analysis, and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
