My Country Mobile (MCM) is a global telecom provider with over 15 years of operation, offering a reliable cloud phone system and wholesale voice network. They are seeking a Sales / Account Manager — Voice & SMS to develop new business and manage accounts, focusing on growing voice and SMS traffic for wholesale customers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, pitch, and close new wholesale voice and SMS customers across global markets
- Own a portfolio of accounts end to end — onboarding, rate negotiation, and traffic growth
- Grow voice and SMS volumes through upsell, route expansion, and new destination corridors
- Negotiate rate sheets and commercial terms with carriers, aggregators, and resellers
- Work with the NOC and routing teams to match customer needs to the right routes and quality tiers
- Monitor account performance — ASR, ACD, margin, and SMS delivery rates — and act on trends
- Resolve commercial and quality issues quickly to protect revenue and retention
- Represent MCM in customer negotiations and at industry events
Requirements:
- 2+ years in wholesale voice, VoIP, A2P SMS, or telecom carrier sales / account management
- Understanding of A-Z termination, CLI and Non-CLI routes, and SMS routing and pricing
- A track record of hitting revenue and account-growth targets
- Strong negotiation and relationship skills — comfortable owning a customer end to end
- Familiarity with telecom metrics (ASR, ACD, PDD) and rate-sheet management
- Excellent English communication; additional languages are an advantage
- An existing network of carrier, aggregator, or reseller contacts
- Experience with A2P SMS commercials and compliance
- Familiarity with softswitch / CDR tools and CRM systems
