Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a comprehensive funding operations strategy aligned with executive financial goals
- Serve as the strategic bridge between the C-suite, government stakeholders, private funders, and your operational team
- Oversee the full lifecycle of public grant acquisition, submission, and compliance
- Supervise grant writing, funding applications, and program reporting across U.S. Canadian landscapes
- Proactively identify new public funding programs, incentives, and institutional opportunities
- Lead all treasury operations, ensuring real-time visibility across cash flow, disbursement scheduling, and liquidity
- Optimize capital efficiency and ensure strategic reserve planning
- Direct government relations specialists to maintain high-impact, mission-aligned partnerships
- Lead lobbying and advocacy efforts tied to funding legislation or partnership advancement
- Stay ahead of policy developments that affect funding channels or compliance obligations
- Supervise early-stage capital engagement via angel, VC, and philanthropic networks
- Collaborate on investor memos, funding decks, and capital formation strategies
- Maintain active relationship management and due diligence process coordination
- Guide PPP experts in structuring co-financed initiatives with government, academia, or nonprofit entities
- Explore creative finance vehicles and hybrid models that blend mission and capital efficiency
- Drive institutional credibility with a flexible but rigorous funding operations model
- Establish and maintain internal controls for grant compliance, financial integrity, and cross-border audit-readiness
