Privateer is seeking a Platform Engineer with strong software engineering expertise and some data science acumen. The role focuses on improving system robustness, stability, and performance, particularly in distributed microservice architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain platform services in a microservices environment
- Develop and optimize event-driven architectures using message queuing systems
- Implement and maintain gRPC and HTTP API surfaces
- Design data processing pipelines and analytics infrastructure
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability
- Containerize applications and manage container orchestration
