QA Developer - Testing & Automation Framework

Stan AI is building the next generation of AI-powered software for property managers. They are seeking a QA Developer to architect their test automation framework, develop comprehensive test suites, and leverage AI to enhance testing efficiency. The role involves collaborating with the engineering team to ensure product quality and implementing a robust testing strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive testing strategy covering unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Own the testing roadmap as the product scales
• Build and maintain our Playwright-based end-to-end test suite
• Write tests that are reliable, maintainable, and catch real user scenarios
• Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate test development
• Generate test cases, improve test logic, and explore edge cases using LLM capabilities
• Set up CI/CD integration, test parallelization, reporting dashboards, and failure analysis
• Build tests that validate performance, scalability, and reliability
• Identify bottlenecks and regressions early
• Partner with product, design, and engineering to define testable requirements
• Advocate for quality and testing best practices
• Document test architecture, best practices, and maintain test code quality standards
• Help the team write better tests
