Software Engineer, CDN Security

Vercel is a company that provides developers with tools and cloud infrastructure for building and securing web applications. They are looking for a Software Engineer to join their CDN Security team, where the primary responsibility will be to secure customer websites by analyzing traffic patterns and identifying malicious activities.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze traffic patterns to identify bad traffic and bad actors
• Build & operate a scalable low latency Firewall for millions of websites
• Push the state of the art forward for web security

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience handling denial of service attacks
• Knowledgeable and experienced with web servers, and network protocols (e.g. HTTP, TCP)
• Experience with distributed systems
• Experience working in Go or Lua
• Advanced Bot Detection & Observability capabilities
