Avua is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst who will assist in bridging the gap between business needs and technology. The role involves gathering requirements, analyzing data, and recommending solutions to drive strategic and operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and objectives
- Gather, document, and analyze functional and technical requirements
- Create clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flows
- Identify gaps and propose solutions to enhance business processes or systems
- Support product development and system implementations by working closely with developers, QA, and project managers
- Analyze data to uncover trends, opportunities, and business insights
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and presentations
- Assist in testing, validation, and user acceptance processes
- Monitor and report on project progress and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure deliverables meet business expectations and compliance standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
- 1 - 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role
- Experience with business process modeling, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear business language
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
