Butterfly Network, Inc. is driving a digital revolution in ultrasound imaging and sensing with its proprietary technology. They are seeking a Customer Program Manager to oversee the execution of technical projects across hardware and software engineering, ensuring alignment with partners and meeting critical milestones.
Responsibilities:
- Own the planning and execution of technical projects across the R&D, product development, and new product introduction
- Work closely with engineering, regulatory, quality, legal, and supply chain teams to ensure projects remain on track
- Track and manage project budgets, forecasts, and internal time tracking for accurate financial reporting
- Maintain alignment between BFLY Embedded’s technical priorities and those of its partners, ensuring deliverables meet strategic goals
- Keep detailed records of project milestones, technical dependencies, and risk management plans
- Work with internal and external teams to ensure medical device compliance, including FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards
- Oversee procurement, production scheduling, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products and components
- Identify bottlenecks in project execution and improve processes to enhance efficiency
Requirements:
- Technical background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in program/project management: 4+ years managing complex technical projects, preferably in hardware, semiconductors, or deep tech
- Highly organized and efficient: Proven track record of handling multiple projects and priorities
- Strong communication skills: Ability to translate technical challenges into actionable program management plans
- Data-driven decision-making: Proficient in project tracking, reporting, and analytics tools
- Ability to work across disciplines: Experience coordinating work across hardware, software, and regulatory teams
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
- Experience with ultrasound or other medical imaging technologies
- Experience with regulated industries: Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA QSR, IEC 60601, or similar standards
- Exposure to high-volume manufacturing environments
- Understanding of software development processes and integration workflows
