Software Engineer

Cadence is a clinical AI company that delivers continuous, proactive care for older adults with chronic conditions. They are seeking a Software Engineer to join their engineering team to build and maintain services within the Cadence remote patient monitoring platform, enhancing medical professionals' ability to monitor and interact with patients across the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain services for the Cadence platform
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes on a rapidly growing team
• Collaborate with product owners, internal stakeholders, and customers to determine the right solutions for our product
• Work with other engineers throughout our 6-week delivery cycle process to ship well-designed and architected features
• Build systems that support remote patient monitoring workflows and enable scalable care delivery infrastructure

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a Backend or Fullstack Software Engineer
• Experience writing server applications (Golang a plus)
• Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment
• Experience working in a cloud environment such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL
• Fluency with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools; demonstrated experience building or evaluating AI-powered systems in production
