UXR Hunt is seeking a Part-Time UX Researcher for a faith-based tech client. In this role, you'll lead research strategy and execution to uncover insights that shape new digital products for mission-driven communities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct qualitative user research, including interviews, usability testing, and contextual inquiry
- Work closely with designers, PMs, and engineers to frame research questions and translate findings into actionable insights
- Recruit participants and manage research ops for faith-based and nonprofit-aligned audiences
- Communicate insights clearly and effectively to cross-functional stakeholders
- Advocate for the user and build empathy for their needs throughout the design and development process
- Help shape the product roadmap by highlighting real user needs and behavioral trends
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience conducting UX research for digital products
- You've led research projects independently and know how to scope for lean, fast-paced environments
- You're a great communicator and collaborator
- You're experienced with tools like Maze, Dovetail, Optimal Workshop, or similar
- You have empathy for users and a strong understanding of human behavior
- Bonus points if you've worked with or volunteered for mission-based or faith-based orgs and understand their unique communities
