- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs—and drive resolution
- Partner with Program Managers, Technical Product Managers, and Engineering to ensure teams are working on the highest-priority outcomes
- Continuously validate that execution aligns to program intent, not just task completion
- Drive clarity when priorities shift or ambiguity arises
- Establish and maintain clear plans, timelines, and delivery milestones
- Track progress against outcomes, not just activities
- Identify and remove blockers to keep teams moving efficiently
- Act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and Program leadership
- Ensure stakeholders are aligned on priorities, timelines, and tradeoffs
- Communicate clearly and proactively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Identify gaps in planning, execution, or communication and drive improvements
- Strengthen team operating rhythms (planning, retrospectives, status reporting)
- Help teams become more predictable, efficient, and outcome-focused
- Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical concepts (APIs, systems, dependencies, etc.)
- Able to translate technical complexity into clear execution plans
- Partners with engineering, not replacing engineering judgment
