SECTR Partners is currently working with a PE backed Ophthalmology organization who are seeking a Senior Information Technology Project Manager to lead technology projects and strategic initiatives company wide. The role involves leading enterprise IT projects, managing project governance, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption of technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of enterprise IT, AI, cybersecurity, and healthcare transformation projects
- Establish and manage project governance, intake, and portfolio prioritization processes
- Oversee M&A integrations, data migrations, and operational consolidations
- Partner with executives and clinical leaders to define scope, timelines, and success metrics
- Provide executive reporting, dashboards, and RAID tracking for visibility and control
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and change management to ensure delivery and adoption
Requirements:
- 8+ years of project/program management experience delivering complex enterprise IT initiatives, including 5+ years in healthcare environments
- Proven experience in healthcare systems (e.g., EMR, RCM, patient access, contact centres, analytics) within multi-site organizations
- Strong background in M&A integration, system consolidation, and post-acquisition technology transformation
- Expertise in project governance, portfolio management, intake processes, and executive-level reporting
- Experience delivering enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI/automation, and vendor-led programs
- Familiar with Agile, Scrum, Lean, Prosci, and PMP certification (strongly preferred)
