Technical Project Manager

Univedge Consulting LLC is seeking a Technical Project Manager who excels at driving alignment and execution across complex initiatives. The role involves partnering with Product and Engineering teams to translate priorities into actionable plans, proactively managing risks, and ensuring delivery against intended outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Own planning and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives across Product and Engineering
• Translate business and program priorities into clear, actionable plans for teams
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs—and drive resolution
• Partner with Program Managers, Technical Product Managers, and Engineering to ensure teams are working on the highest-priority outcomes
• Continuously validate that execution aligns to program intent, not just task completion
• Drive clarity when priorities shift or ambiguity arises
• Establish and maintain clear plans, timelines, and delivery milestones
• Track progress against outcomes, not just activities
• Identify and remove blockers to keep teams moving efficiently
• Act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and Program leadership
• Ensure stakeholders are aligned on priorities, timelines, and tradeoffs
• Communicate clearly and proactively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Identify gaps in planning, execution, or communication and drive improvements
• Strengthen team operating rhythms (planning, retrospectives, status reporting)
• Help teams become more predictable, efficient, and outcome-focused
• Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical concepts (APIs, systems, dependencies, etc.)
• Able to translate technical complexity into clear execution plans
• Partners with engineering, not replacing engineering judgment
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple teams
• Experience working in software or technical environments with engineering teams
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices and team operating rhythms
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and bring structure where none exists
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve delivery risks
• Takes ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
• Proactively identifies and resolves risks and misalignment
• Ensures teams are executing against the right priorities
• Brings structure and clarity to ambiguous situations

Requirements:

• Strong Technical Project manager who has hands on experience in own planning and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives across Product and Engineering
• Hands on experience in Continuously validate that execution aligns to program intent
• Establish and maintain clear plans, timelines, and delivery milestones
• Working with cross functional teams and communicate clearly and proactively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong experience in Jira, confluence and Hands-on experience working within Agile teams
• 3-7 years of experience in project or program management roles, with demonstrated ownership of complex initiatives
• Strong project management fundamentals: planning, prioritization, risk management, and execution
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple teams
• Experience working in software or technical environments with engineering teams
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices and team operating rhythms
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and bring structure where none exists
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve delivery risks
• Experience in SaaS or platform-based product environments
• Hands-on experience working within Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, or similar)
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
