Dice is a company seeking a Data Security Engineer for a 1-year contract. The role involves providing technical leadership, designing scalable and secure systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex engineering challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain architectural standards and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
- Lead the design of complex systems and confirm scalability, security, and performance
- Review and approve critical technical decisions across projects
- Partner with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Address high-impact technical challenges and provide recommendations for solutions
- Serve as an escalation point for complex engineering issues
- Represent the organization in technical forums, conferences, and industry events
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical documentation
