The Market & Competitive Intelligence Manager will lead competitive intelligence initiatives, leveraging AI tools and market analysis to provide insights and recommendations that align with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve the CI operating model, incorporating agentic AI tools and automation to improve speed, scale, and insight quality
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Strategy to align intelligence priorities to business goals
- Mentor and develop a small team of CI analysts, establishing priorities, workflows, and quality standards
- Leverage agentic AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to:
- Automate data gathering and synthesis across structured and unstructured sources
- Generate insights, hypotheses, and competitive narratives
- Accelerate production of deliverables such as battlecards, win/loss analyses, and executive briefings
- Continuously evaluate and implement emerging AI capabilities to enhance CI workflows and output quality
- Conduct deep analysis of competitors across the AEC and adjacent markets, including product strategy, pricing, positioning, partnerships, and GTM motions
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and risks
- Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
- Own and optimize use of CI platforms such as Crayon for competitive monitoring and battlecard distribution
- Leverage Clozd for win/loss insights and integrate findings into broader CI narratives
- Integrate AI tools with CI platforms to create a more dynamic, insight-driven ecosystem
- Develop and deliver high-impact outputs including:
- Battlecards and competitive positioning guides
- Executive briefings and strategic insights
- Sales enablement content and competitive playbooks
- Act as a trusted advisor to GTM teams, helping them win in competitive deals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, product marketing, or strategy
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar) to enhance research, analysis, or content generation workflows
- Hands-on experience with CI platforms such as Crayon and win/loss tools such as Clozd
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with structured analytic techniques (e.g., SWOT, ACH) a plus
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
- High integrity and sound judgment in handling sensitive information
- Experience in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) market strongly preferred
