Senior/Staff Software Engineer - AI Agents

Maxima is building an agentic AI platform to automate enterprise accounting with intelligent systems. As a senior/staff software engineer on the AI Agents team, you will lead the development and scaling of core systems for enterprise accounting automation, tackling challenges in AI and distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

• Build and evolve our agentic systems that perform and orchestrate complex accounting automation using AI
• Scale the AI Agents platform to support large and rapidly growing enterprise workloads
• Architect durable, highly-available, and scalable financial data processing layers to support the work of agents
• Construct low-latency, extensible infrastructure to enable the deployment and iteration of next-gen agents
• Solve intricate enterprise accounting workflows through robust, composable abstractions and AI-driven automation
