Software Engineer

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join one of their top healthcare clients for a fully remote, long-term W2 contract opportunity. The role involves supporting and advancing critical cardiology systems through front end development and system modernization, while partnering with system engineers and clinical stakeholders to deliver REACT-based user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Support and advance critical cardiology systems through front end development and system modernization
• Partner closely with system engineers and clinical stakeholders to deliver REACT-based user interfaces
• Support HL7 integrations, enhance workflows, and ensure system resiliency, security, and performance
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain REACT code while understanding HL7 standards
• Contribute to incident resolution and system upgrades within a healthcare technology environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, or an Associate's degree with additional related experience
• 3-5+ years of software engineering experience focused in React
• An understanding of Java, and the ability to convert Java to React
• Ability to create, debug, and maintain REACT code
• Strong understanding of HL7 and how it fits into real-world architectures
