About this role
Kforce Inc is seeking a remote Senior Data Engineer to join their team. This role involves building a platform that streamlines online data processing and curating data for machine learning models. The engineer will be responsible for constructing ETL pipelines, data models, and working with various data sources using SQL and Python.
Responsibilities:
- Building ETL pipelines
- Data models (in SQL/GCP)
- Joining tables and data sets
- Using python, airflow for orchestration
- Doing complex SQL and curation of data for various orgs at the client
Requirements:
- 4-5+ years of data engineering experience
- Extremely strong in SQL (be able to tune queries properly, write complex queries, join tables, etc.)
- Experience with ETL processes
- Python experience
- Strong Communication - ability to communicate with the business and stakeholders
- Experience in retail/supply chain a plus
- GCP experience with BigQuery a plus
- Experience in creating pipelines for data extraction, cleansing, and movements (airflow) a plus
