Job Overview:
- The Technician II, Line Maintenance role is responsible for performing preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance activities on production equipment.
- The position involves troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, rebuilding, and maintaining manufacturing equipment while ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with maintenance procedures.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on maintenance experience with industrial equipment and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Experience repairing and troubleshooting industrial production equipment.
- Electrical maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience using maintenance tools including micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, and multimeters.
- Experience disassembling, inspecting, and rebuilding machines.
- Ability to diagnose basic PLC-related issues and perform corrective actions.
- Ability to work around automation equipment.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting production or assembly equipment.
- Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
- Experience working with bench-scale and production equipment.
- Medical device or optics manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.
- Conduct safety checks, repairs, installations, and equipment modifications.
- Record maintenance activities using CMMS systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machines and production equipment.
- Tear down, inspect, and rebuild production equipment.
- Perform functional testing on assembly and production equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective maintenance actions.
- Support inventory requisitions for spare parts and emergency repairs.
- Support workplace organization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Respond to technical questions and maintenance-related issues.
- Maintain compliance with maintenance procedures and safety standards.
Should Have:
- Strong hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to explain previous maintenance experience clearly during interviews.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills.
- Comfortable working in automated manufacturing environments.
