SIRITECH SOLUTIONS CORP is seeking a Business Analyst to develop and maintain business requirements, test plans, and perform functional testing on applications. The role involves analyzing system documentation, eliciting business requirements, and supporting production applications.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze system documentation and system artifacts to develop an understanding of the associated business process
- Elicit business system requirements using one or more of the following methods: analyze current processes, interview users, conduct group meetings, review/analyze existing documentation or system artifacts
- Document and analyze as is and to be business processes
- Develop or maintain high-level and detailed system requirements in the form of clear business requirements documents, context diagrams, process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and use cases
- Develop or maintain test plans and detailed test cases
- Develop or maintain user acceptance testing plans and help desk support guides
- Develop detailed functional and system tests from documented system requirements. Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases
- Develop or contribute to the development of regression tests and/or user acceptance tests
- Execute functional and system tests, including regression tests. Participate in user acceptance testing
- Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, performing retesting as required
- Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation (e.g., missing or ambiguous requirements) identified during the testing process
- Respond and work-through incident tickets submitted by users of business applications
Requirements:
- 84 months experience eliciting business requirements from business customers or system artifacts and maintaining such requirements
- 84 months experience developing business requirements and process documentation such as use cases, process flows, screen mock-ups, and data dictionaries
- 84 months experience creating test plans and test cases, executing functional and system tests including regression tests. Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases
- 84 months identifying and documenting application defects, tracking defects to resolution, and performing retesting as required
- 24 months experience with systems related to criminal justice processing (including but not limited to: statistical reporting, disposition processing, fingerprint identification processing, criminal history updating, Sex Offender management, tracking of Wanted/Missing persons, or other applications utilized by law enforcement
- Mandatory ITS Security Agreements and Fingerprint-based Background Check
- The candidate will have to complete the mandatory training from OER
- Resource will work with State staff to ensure that sufficient document/artifact reviews take place during the engagement
