Sr Project Manager

Shari Moreno & Company is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to drive the growth and expansion of their Civil Practice Team within the State of Texas, focusing on Austin and surrounding communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multidisciplined civil engineering projects, managing a team, and developing client relationships to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee completion of project
• Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
• Assess risks and establish contingency plans
• Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas (required)
• Residence in or near Austin, TX, with strong regional connections
• Proven track record of driving business growth and market expansion in civil engineering
• Flexible and broad technical skills across civil infrastructure disciplines
• Comprehensive understanding of public infrastructure funding—federal, state, and local
• Deep knowledge of municipal and utility landscapes in the Austin area
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including team leadership and project management
• Ability to build, develop, and guide engineering teams to achieve targeted business outcomes
• Confident public communicator who can represent Councils, Boards, Associations
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in project management or relevant fields
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with a team
• Private/Industrial entitlement experience
• Established partner network
