Senior Java + Databricks Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Java + Databricks Engineer to leverage their strong hands-on experience in Java and Databricks to design and build APIs, while working within a team of diverse innovators.

Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
• Exposure to Databricks
• Mandatory skill - Spec-Driven Development (SDD) is Must with AI
• Understanding of Microservices architecture
• Experience designing and building RESTful API endpoints
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture patterns
• Experience building APIs that serve analytics consumers — aggregations, filtering, and performant query patterns
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools
• Good debugging and performance tuning skills
• Good understanding of SQL and database concepts
• Basic understanding of PySpark or Spark SQL
• Exposure to data engineering or ETL processes
