Developer/DevOps Engineer

Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology is seeking a talented and motivated Developer / DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. The role focuses on software development, automation, and cloud infrastructure to build scalable, high-performance systems. Key responsibilities include developing applications, managing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with teams to improve workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications and backend services
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security across development and production environments
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve workflows and deployment processes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks
• Troubleshoot application, server, and deployment-related issues efficiently
• Support cloud infrastructure management and system scalability initiatives
• Maintain technical documentation for systems, deployments, and operational procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development and DevOps practices

Requirements:

• Experience in software development, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles
• Strong understanding of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and automation frameworks
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, or infrastructure automation tools is preferred
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred, but not required
