Senior DevOps Engineer (Platform Engineering - Cloud Infrastructure & AI-First Platform)

They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure and developer platform powering the next generation of YPO products.

Responsibilities:

• Cloud infrastructure architecture and operations across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Multi region, highly available infrastructure design
• Scalability, resilience, networking, and performance optimization
• FinOps practices including cloud cost management, tagging, and anomaly detection
• DNS, CDN, load balancing, and failover strategy management
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code governance
• Automated provisioning, teardown, and configuration management
• Automation pipelines for certificate rotation, secrets management, compliance remediation, and drift detection
• Python and Bash scripting for operational automation
• CI/CD pipeline design across mobile, backend APIs, AI platforms, and data workloads
• Automated quality gates including testing, security scanning, and IaC linting
• Progressive delivery techniques including blue green and canary deployments
• Release workflows, deployment runbooks, and change management processes
• Kubernetes platform operations (EKS, AKS, GKE)
• Container governance, lifecycle management, and image scanning
• Service mesh, ingress controllers, and network policies
• Internal developer platforms and self service tooling
• Metrics, logging, tracing, and monitoring strategy
• SLI/SLO management and error budgets
• Alerting, dashboards, and on call operational readiness
• Post mortems, continuous improvement, and performance benchmarking
• Security controls and policy as code integration
• Secrets management and cloud security baseline enforcement
• SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance automation
• Zero trust and network security practices
• Internal developer experience and self service enablement
• Engineering standards, documentation, and operational best practices
• Cross functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, AI/Data, and Security
• Technical mentorship and DevOps enablement across teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE environments
• Strong cloud expertise (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP exposure)
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code proficiency
• CI/CD pipeline design across multiple workload types
• Strong Kubernetes experience in production environments
• Python and/or scripting for automation
• Networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, TLS, load balancing, and CDN
• Observability tooling experience (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
• Experience with IAM, secrets management, and security best practices
• Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
• Mobile release pipeline experience (iOS/Android)
• AI/ML infrastructure or data pipeline experience
• Platform engineering tools and internal developer portals
• FinOps or cloud cost optimization tooling
• Multi region architecture and global systems experience
• Experience supporting global SaaS or membership platforms
