AI Integration Engineer

Xiphos Partners is seeking a versatile AI Integration Engineer to work at the intersection of data science, software engineering, and applied artificial intelligence. The role involves embedding agentic AI capabilities into internal business processes and customer-facing products, while also designing and deploying AI systems to automate operational tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy agentic AI systems- LLM-powered agents, multi-agent orchestration, and tool-using autonomous workflows that automate complex operational tasks across XAT and XAS
• Partner with leadership and subject-matter experts to identify high-value AI opportunities across business processes (proposals, sustainment planning, knowledge management, reporting) and translate them into deployed solutions
• Build and operate production-grade software end-to-end: clean code, REST API endpoints, containerized services, deployment to cloud or on-prem Linux environments, and ownership from prototype to scaled operations
• Perform full-cycle data science work - pipeline design, feature engineering, model selection, training, and evaluation -against business KPIs and mission outcomes
• Establish responsible AI practices: evaluation frameworks, drift and failure monitoring, safeguards, and documentation appropriate to a regulated, mission-critical environment
