HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a critical vendor engagement within the Commercial Underwriting organization. This role will coordinate between external vendors, internal development teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead coordination across external vendors, internal engineering teams, business stakeholders, and leadership teams
- Drive project execution, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
- Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, risk reviews, and stakeholder communications
- Manage vendor deliverables to ensure alignment with business, technical, quality, and security expectations
- Track and mitigate project risks, issues, blockers, and escalations
- Maintain project documentation, action items, decisions, and knowledge-sharing processes
- Support Agile delivery activities including sprint coordination, SDLC tracking, and Jira management
- Identify operational gaps across teams and proactively drive resolution to support continuous delivery
- Collaborate effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment
Requirements:
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience within enterprise environments
- Proven experience managing vendor or third-party integration projects
- Strong background leading cross-functional and distributed teams
- Experience working within Agile and SDLC environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices related to project delivery and integrations
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while driving collaboration across teams
- PMP or related project management certification
- Experience within insurance, underwriting, or financial services environments
- Familiarity with AI concepts or AI-enabled business/technology initiatives
