TrustLayer is transforming how businesses manage third-party risk, compliance, and insurance verification. The role requires a technical, hands-on product leader to own the full product lifecycle, collaborate with engineering, and drive product discovery and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers, partners, and internal teams to understand workflows, uncover pain points, and define clear product opportunities
- Shape pitches around prototypes, testing ideas early to de-risk big bets, and collaborate with engineering to size cycles effectively
- Use data and customer insights to validate assumptions, kill bad ideas early, and double down on what works
- Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows across discovery and prototyping to test solutions faster and smarter
- Own the lifecycle of your bets — from shaping and pitching to managing delivery through cycles and ensuring they land
- Partner closely with engineering and GTM teams to prototype quickly, validate technical feasibility, and drive continuous iteration
- Instrument analytics, define event taxonomies, and measure impact across activation, time-to-value, compliance, and adoption
- Run structured experiments on pricing, onboarding, and growth loops — focusing on outcomes, not just outputs
- Partner with Sales, CS, and Marketing to launch features, enable internal teams, and accelerate adoption
- Collaborate on GTM strategy, demo environments, sample datasets, and win-loss insights to drive customer success
- Align product, engineering, and GTM teams around key business outcomes and measurable impact
Requirements:
- 5+ years shipping SaaS products and owning outcomes, not just tickets
- Technical — you can read/write code, query APIs, and speak fluently with engineers
- Thrive in ambiguous, 0→1 environments, turning fuzzy problems into clear solutions
- Data-driven and comfortable instrumenting metrics, dashboards, and funnels
- Can balance rapid experimentation with long-term product strategy
- Communicate crisply with designers, engineers, execs, and customers
- Experience in Insurtech, risk, compliance, or other complex B2B workflows
- Experience with AI-powered products (LLMs, OCR, embeddings, evaluation frameworks)
- Experience in growth engineering or GTM ops: lifecycle messaging, A/B testing, event modeling, CRM plumbing
