AWS Storage Architect

Key Skills

• Architecture and backup technologies (EMC, Netapp, AWS and DellAPEX)
• Storage, EMC, Dell EMC, NetApp, DellApex, Storage Gateway, AWS Storage Gateway
• Technical implementation of Storage and backup technologies (EMC, Netapp, AWS and DellAPEX)
• Strong knowledge of SAN, NAS, object storage
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAN, NAS, cloud storage, and backup strategies to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Technical implementation of Storage and backup technologies (EMC, Netapp, AWS and DellAPEX)
• Point of escalation with partners and suppliers for ongoing support, transitions & updates related to SGW, storage and backup technologies
• Technical delivery for infrastructure components and services as they relate to storage and backup requirements and technologies
• Help support BCP/DR services as they relate to storage and backup requirements.
• Implement storage & backup technologies, following implementation schedule for products & tools.
• Support the upgrading, patching, and maintenance of storage and backup software/ hardware.
• Partner with Cyber Security to ensure effective Vulnerability management across storage and backup services at its sites and Data Centre s.
• Help reduce and remove customer tech debt for backup and storage technologies.
• Ensure we always remain safe and compliant.
• Provide operational support as it relates to System Monitoring/Alerting , Incident Response, Troubleshooting and RCA (Problem mgmt)
• Provide build services related to Capacity planning, Automation Development, Performance Optimization and System Design/Architecture
