Financial Data Analyst | $34/hr Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to provide support to small and medium-sized business owners. The role involves offering omnichannel chat support, answering accounting queries, and analyzing financial data using QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities:

• Provide omnichannel chat support to SMB (small and medium-sized business) owners
• Answer general help questions and complex, data-heavy accounting queries
• Support bookkeeping and financial guidance using QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Analyze and interpret financial data to provide accurate and actionable responses
• Complete PPT-based or structured tasks as assigned
• Maintain high standards of data privacy, compliance, and client confidentiality

Requirements:

• Active user of QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Prior experience providing omnichannel chat support
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and data analysis
• Ability to handle complex, data-driven accounting questions
• Ability to commit 40 hours/week with at least 4 hours PST overlap
• Experience working with SMB clients is preferred
• Prior experience as an SMB business owner with hands-on accounting knowledge
• Previous engagement as an expert in finance/accounting domain
• Comfortable managing high-volume, data-heavy queries
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
