Sr. UI/UX Designer

BlockSpaces is a fintech company specializing in Bitcoin integration and infrastructure solutions for institutions. They are seeking a highly motivated Senior UI/UX Designer to work closely with product and engineering teams to design, build, and improve their core product while implementing growth strategies to widen their user base.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and improving the full product life cycle from end-to-end user flows to visual optimizations for specific features
• Implementing both high-fidelity prototypes and low-fidelity wireframes
• Working with engineers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation
• Working with internal team stakeholders to identify and prioritize user needs
• Conducting user testing and assimilating customer feedback
• Planning and conducting user research and interviews
• Motivating design-oriented decisions and standards company-wide

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer
• Experience with front-end web development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
• Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe)
• Experience collaborating with engineers and other designers
• Experience performing user research, user flow mapping and presenting options to stakeholders
• Understanding of color theory, typography, interaction design, motion principles, responsive design, and visual hierarchy
• Keen eye for design improvements and visual detail
• A strong portfolio of website designs, web apps, graphic design elements, and logos
• Experience with designing enterprise web applications or API products (e.g. Stripe, Twilio, Plaid, Segment, Algolia, Agora)
• Experience with cryptocurrency and/or specific public (permissionless) and private (permissioned) blockchain and distributed ledger protocols, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Chainlink, Cardano, Hyperledger, or Corda is a major plus
