Developer/DevOps Engineer

Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology is seeking a motivated and passionate Developer / DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. The role involves assisting in software development and deployment processes while supporting CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and infrastructure
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and system monitoring activities
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, and cross-functional teams on project implementation and system improvements
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and development planning sessions
• Support cloud services, server configuration, and deployment workflows
• Learn and apply modern DevOps tools, frameworks, and technologies
• Contribute ideas to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of software development and DevOps concepts
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, or similar
• Basic knowledge of Linux systems, cloud platforms, or container technologies is a plus
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn new technologies and grow in a technical role
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, or deployment workflows is preferred
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field is preferred, but not required
