Lead Frontend Software Engineer

RowsOne is hiring a Lead Frontend Engineer to lead the development of performant and user-centric web applications. The role involves setting frontend standards, mentoring developers, and delivering high-performance user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Build and provide oversight for advanced frontend applications using React and Next.js
• Collaborate with product team and backend engineers to deliver pixel-perfect, high-performance UIs
• Implement and optimize application architecture for responsiveness and speed
• Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews with a focus on best practices and maintainability
• Contribute to internal tools, libraries, and process automation initiatives

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Expert-level proficiency with React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of frontend performance, security, and accessibility best practices
• Experience working in agile teams with cross-functional collaboration
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)
• Familiarity with Laravel or full-stack development workflows
• Prior experience in startups or fast-paced product teams
