Postnova Analytics GmbH is a leading manufacturer and provider of equipment, software, and services for the analysis of nanoparticles, polymers, and biomolecules. They are seeking a Sales Manager to build and lead their sales operations in the United States, focusing on establishing customer relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for US market development: establish and grow direct customer relationships, key accounts, and potentially distributor partnerships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industrial and research customers
- Provide technical guidance and application support for analytical instruments (e.g., field-flow fractionation, chromatography, light scattering)
- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals
- Collaborate closely with product management, application teams, and marketing within the US
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, engineering, business, or equivalent experience in technical sales
- Several years of experience in direct technical sales of complex or scientific products, preferably analytical instrumentation or laboratory equipment
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel within the US for customer visits and conferences
