Introduction:
The Windchill PLM Consultant will be responsible for leading data migration projects, specifically in a Windchill environment. They should have a strong understanding of PLM domain, data modeling, and data migration concepts. The consultant will collaborate with various stakeholders and utilize scripting languages to automate migration processes.
Responsibilities:
Lead data migration projects in a Windchill environment
Understand Windchill data model, workflows, and configurations
Migrate data from non-PLM to Windchill environment
Utilize CAD data and engineering document management systems
Work with WBM tool for migration activities
Use Windchill data migration tools and utilities for site consolidation
Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques
Automate migration processes using scripting languages
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders for effective communication
Manage conflicts within the team and guide them in migration activities
Requirements:
Essential Skills:
Strong experience in data migration projects, preferably in a Windchill environment
Working knowledge in PLM domain
Solid understanding of Windchill data model, workflows, and configurations
Experience in migrating data from non-PLM to Windchill environment
Knowledge of CAD data and engineering document management systems
Proficiency in Windchill data migration tools and utilities
Experience with data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques
Proficiency in scripting languages for automation
Excellent communication skills for collaboration
Desirable Skills:
Relevant certifications in data management or PLM
Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment
Excellence in writing, verbal presentation, and interpersonal communication
Ability to manage conflicts within the team
