Senior Pipeline Engineer Natural Gas Transmission/Pipeline Operations & Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipeline Engineer to support the engineering, design, analysis, and field execution of natural gas transmission pipelines and associated facilities. This role will oversee third-party engineering firms and support projects throughout the full lifecycle, including development, detailed engineering, construction, testing, commissioning, and project closeout.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in pipeline systems, station facilities, regulatory compliance, and construction support, with the ability to coordinate across engineering, operations, vendors, and construction teams to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant pipeline infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in pipeline engineering, facilities engineering, or pipeline construction support.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Natural gas transmission systems
  • Pipeline integrity and compliance
  • Hydrotesting
  • Welding and NDE practices
  • Cathodic Protection fundamentals
  • Pipeline construction methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and field documentation.
• Experience coordinating with construction, operations, vendors, and third-party engineering firms.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
