PeKe Labs is an innovative technology company developing cutting-edge software that translates muscle movement into data. They are seeking their first social media marketer to create and manage a compelling online presence that engages their audience and builds community relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with our brand’s identity, tone, and mission
- Create compelling content (graphics, posts, videos) that resonates with our audience and tells the story of our brand in a fun and engaging way
- Be the voice of the brand on platforms like Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok, ensuring consistency across all channels while adapting the message for each audience
- Engage with our community—respond to comments, initiate conversations, and build strong relationships with our followers
- Track performance and use data to refine strategies, optimize engagement, and grow our social following
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure our social media efforts align with our product launches, events, and company updates
- Stay on top of trends and innovative content strategies, ensuring we’re always fresh and relevant in the social media space
- Manage campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive interest in our products and services
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media marketing, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns
- A keen understanding of brand voice and how to translate it into compelling content
- Creativity and imagination—you can take our existing brand and turn it into an engaging and relatable public persona
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write in a tone that's authentic, relatable, and true to our brand
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and the tools needed to create and schedule posts
- A strategic mindset—able to balance creativity with analytics to ensure that our efforts are achieving the desired results
- Self-motivated and autonomous—you don't wait around for direction but take ownership of your work and results
- A passion for technology, innovation, and storytelling
- Experience with visual content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Sprout Social, etc.) to track performance and refine strategies
- A passion for wearables, health tech, or biomechanics is a plus but not required
