Pax8 is a fast-growing technology marketplace, and they are seeking a Senior Product Manager for Platform Engineering to shape their AI-driven cloud marketplace. The role involves defining platform direction, collaborating with engineering and design teams, and translating strategy into actionable roadmaps to unlock value for partners and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Own a critical platform problem space, defining direction from discovery through measurable impact
- Partner deeply with Platform Engineering and Design to uncover the right problems and deliver durable, scalable solutions
- Translate strategy into clear, outcome‑focused roadmaps aligned to company and product OKRs
- Balance customer value, technical constraints, and business impact through strong systems and product thinking
- Use data, qualitative insights, and experimentation to define success, validate learning, and refine direction
- Guide initiatives from build to launch, ensuring clarity around problems, constraints, and success criteria
- Communicate decisions, progress, and trade‑offs with clarity and influence across stakeholders
- Embed AI‑first thinking into discovery, decision‑making, and execution
- Elevate product practices and ways of working across teams
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ownership of complex product areas spanning multiple systems or domains
- Substantial experience partnering with engineers and designers in highly technical environments
- Proven ability to define problems — not just requirements — and deliver measurable outcomes
- Strong grasp of modern product delivery practices, including experimentation, analytics, and iterative development
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, using judgment and data when information is incomplete
- Experience setting and managing product OKRs or similar outcome‑based frameworks
- Excellent communication and influence skills, with a track record of aligning diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud‑based platforms, and modern software architectures
- Hands‑on experience using AI and automation tools to enhance discovery, analysis, and execution
