Civil Design Manager - Site Design

Olsson is an engineering and design firm that focuses on improving the world through responsive and transparent solutions. They are seeking a Civil Design Manager to lead quality assurance and design reviews, manage project staff, and liaise with clients on various site development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Directs and manages staff on technical aspects of projects including coordination with all disciplines involved on projects
• Plans and oversees the quality review process of project deliverables
• Provides a consultative resource to clients for project resolution
• Strengthens and further develops subject matter expertise in certain design areas
• Provides senior-level design review for various projects on the team and acts as a resource for technical issues
• May assist in the preparation of project studies by completing drawings, sketching, or acquiring data
• Promotes efficiencies in producing quality work
• Supervises and reviews assignments of less experienced staff

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Associate Degree in Drafting
• 10 years of CAD software experience (AutoCAD Civil 3d)
• Project Management skills for medium-sized projects
