Buyers Edge Platform is modernizing core operational systems that support their business models across various stakeholders. They are seeking a mid-level Product Manager to own a critical workflow stream within a broader systems transformation initiative, working closely with Engineering, UX, and Business stakeholders to design and structure complex workflows and drive cross-functional execution.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and structuring complex, rule-based workflows
- Building tools that replace manual and spreadsheet-driven processes
- Developing pricing and comparison logic frameworks
- Supporting automated contract and documentation generation
- Translating business rules into scalable system functionality
- Co-owning the design and expansion of external-facing portals
- Creating structured user flows for suppliers and distributors
- Establishing permission models and role-based access
- Developing visibility and reporting experiences for external partners
- Automating workflows between internal teams and external stakeholders
- Integrating work tightly with foundational platform architecture defined by the Product Lead
- Deeply understanding existing workflows and operational processes
- Translating complex business rules into structured system designs
- Identifying edge cases, dependencies, and failure scenarios
- Designing scalable logic frameworks that reduce manual intervention
- Defining clear functional requirements and success metrics
- Modeling conditional logic, state transitions, and rule flows
- Partnering with UX to simplify complex workflows
- Ensuring solutions are maintainable and extensible
- Working closely with Engineering to translate logic into implementation
- Collaborating across contracts, pricing, procurement, and operations
- Driving alignment through structured communication
- Supporting features from discovery through launch and iteration
- Measuring usage and workflow impact
- Identifying automation opportunities
- Reducing manual effort and spreadsheet reliance
Requirements:

- Produce or foodservice industry exposure
- Experience with pricing, contracts, or rule-based systems
