About this role
Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Network Security Engineer to manage and secure their network infrastructure. The role involves monitoring security incidents, implementing security controls, and collaborating with teams to enforce security standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and IPS systems
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to network security incidents and threats
- Implement cloud and endpoint security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
- Lead incident response processes including investigation, containment, and remediation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce security standards and best practices
- Mentor team members and promote security awareness across the organization
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks, policies, and industry regulations
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in network security management and firewall configuration
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform security environments
- Deep understanding of encryption, SSL, VPNs, cryptography, and network segmentation
- Hands-on experience in incident response and security event analysis
- Knowledge of compliance standards and security policy implementation
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred
