Robotics Engineer

Eclipse Recruiting is working with a large manufacturer of capital equipment for the food processing industry, seeking a Robotics Engineering professional. The role involves the development and programming of industrial robots for automated manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Development, offline and online programming, testing, integration, and commissioning of 6-axis industrial robots (primarily FANUC) for use in automated manufacturing systems
• Using tools such as FANUC ROBOGUIDE and other 3D simulation environments, deliver robust robotic cells that integrate with PLCs, safety systems, sensors, conveyors, vision systems, and other factory automation equipment from initial concept through production ramp-up
• Considerable travel in the first 6 months (50%)

Requirements:

• Robotics Engineering professional
• Development, offline and online programming, testing, integration, and commissioning of 6-axis industrial robots (primarily FANUC)
• Experience with FANUC ROBOGUIDE and other 3D simulation environments
• Ability to deliver robust robotic cells that integrate with PLCs, safety systems, sensors, conveyors, vision systems, and other factory automation equipment
• Willingness to relocate to Georgia in the future
• Ability to travel 50% in the first 6 months
